Signing up for an ASGA Championship tournament has gotten a lot easier this year with the new TPPOnline Sign-up program. However, some are making it hard on themselves in a couple of ways. First and formost you must be an ASGA member before you can sign-up. So make sure you are an active member at your local club or golf association. That will solve most problems when you are ready to enter an event.
If you sign-up using a mail in entry form you still need to check to make sure you are an active member. If you are not then it only delays your entry and creates problems for you and the ASGA staff.
If you enter an ASGA Designated tournament it to is very import to make sure you are an active ASGA member, otherwise you will not get your well deserved player of the year points.
So do yourself and the ASGA staff a favor and re-new that membership to make sure everthing goes smooth upon you registering for an ASGA event and good luck in those events.

Knock Off the Rust
It's been awhile since my last post and as the month of March approches I begin to think about SPRING and I am sure you do as well.
One reason is the ASGA kicks off our tournament season each year with the annual ASGA Four-Ball Championship and this year is no different. As always we will on March 27 & 28, 2010 be at beautiful Hot Springs Country Club and if you haven't signed up to play you need to do so as teams are signing up daily and we will only take 50.
Also what better way than to start the new year off getting your game in shape and the best way to do that is to visit with your local Arkansas PGA Professional for a tune up lesson. I have a link to most of the professionals at our great golf clubs across the state so give one a call and set up a lesson.

Remember SPRING is a COMIN!
